Four Decks, Four Times the Fun! Fun for families, friends and beginners-and an absolute must for game lovers-Canasta Hand and Foot Card Game is the official North American version of classic Canasta, which originated in Uruguay and is quickly gaining popularity all over America and Canada. Called "Hand and Foot" because each player is dealt two sets of cards: the "Hand," which is played first, and the "Foot," which is played when the "Hand" is used up. To play: lay down rows of cards and add to them, create books, clean (without wild cards) and dirty (with wild cards)-and watch out for the infamous Mammoth cards! The goal is to lose both your "Hand" and "Foot" to win! Point values are printed directly on each card for ease of learning and playing. Set-up box contains 216 deluxe cards, custom created especially for this game, and complete instructions. Recommended for ages 8 and up. This game is best played with four people, but can be played with any number of even players.

Comments about Canasta Hand and Foot Card Game:

Hand & Foot has become our favorite game when we have friends over for game night. The game was easy to learn. Everyone was able to pick it up after one open hand. And the cards have the point values printed one them which makes it easy for scoring.
