Actually I bought another because I have TWO ankles. I haven't had these long enough to comment on their durability, and I have no idea if the magnets really help or not. However, these add support and warmth to my damaged ankles, so I like them. IF you have ankle problems, I recommend that you try them too.

My precious wife broke her leg forty years ago as a semi pro roller skater and has tried so many cuffs, braces, and wraps with little or no relief. I saw this in DOC L.'s catalog and as an after thought added this brace to the order. It gives her COMFORTABLE relief and is flexible enough to be worn in her shoe. It breathes and she can wear this unit way, way longer than any device she has tried before!

Had a pulled tendon that was painful when putting pressure on foot. Helped a great deal in relieving pain, and supporting ankle.
