Comments about Bedside Support Rail:
Mother can now get out of bed without assistance, even if she's having a "not so good" day. The support rail is small enough that it's not in the way if you don't need it, but right there if you do need a little extra help getting in or out of bed.

Easy to put together, and position. Replaces a black rail that just reminded me all the time of my limits. This is visually much more pleasant, and serves the same purpose.

This is ideal as a mini bed rail, and also for repositioning and sitting up independantly. I purchased this for a friend who is newly paraplegic, and it's working out well. Similar products start at about [$]elsewhere.

My Mother-In-Law needed something sturdy to help her get out of bed in the morning when she was stiff and sore from sleeping. This was a little more involved in installing it than we expected, but once it was in place it's so easy to use. She was concerned about not being able to make her bed properly but soon discovered how light it is to just take the top off and set it aside. We don't know how she made it out of bed without it. It's very nice, light and handy, especially for the elderly or slightly disabled person. I may get another for myself just for the safety aspect of it. It also helps to keep you from rolling too far and falling out of the bed which was also a minor problem for her. Now I don't worry about her when she's getting out of bed in the morning or during the night. Great, priced-just-right product. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to feel safer and more secure in bed.

After I had my hip replaced this device made getting out of bed so much easier. And I could turn it to move it when I wanted to reach for something on my bedside stand.
