When I go out and about, these easy to use gliders make my trips easier to navigate. I used to use tennis balls, however I find that these glide along with no problem. Sometimes the tennis balls would get caught on things and come off, but these stay on better.

Would have given gliders 5 stars except they were not easy to apply to walker. They wouldn't screw in at all. I actually had to hammer them into place. Once assembled to walker they are great. I can't wait to see how long they last. I am hoping they outlast tennis balls. I was replacing tennis balls every other month...

These are something you need periodically, as the wheels and slides on your walker do wear out. The wheels outlast the slides about two to one, but it pays to keep both on hand in the event of a minor catastrophe. [...]

These glides that I ordered for my walker are simply wonderful!! The round ones I had before were worn out and certainly needed replacing. I had actually fallen several times because of them and had to call 911....I haven't fallen once since I received my glides. Thank you so much!!!

The glides are a great improvement over the round glides that are installed by the manufacturer The round type dig under rugs or obstructions. This glide rides above obstructions. The glide is very good on cement or pavement.

Although the medical supply store would not sell us any wheels, because we already had wheels and slides on my husbands walker, (in the front). We ordered a set of wheels 3", to replace the slides on my husbands walker, mainly for use in the house, as we have plush wall to wall carpeting. and the slides just didn't do the trick. With putting wheels on the back of the walker, replacing the slides, my husband can easily roll from one room to the other without much strain, thus making life a bit easier on him. I would not recommend for those who have trouble with balance. Thank you Dr. Leonard

These glides are easily installed, and seem to be well built. They make it much easier to slide the walker along than two tenis balls.

They work equaly well on asfault as a carpeted floor.
