If you have dry skin, this is the soap to have. I have seen it advertised for years and never tried it until recently. I LOVE IT!

Great for whole body. Rinses clean, and if you want to know what "squeaky clean" means, wash your hair with it. My hair looks great without using all the products I used to use.

Yes, the smell is not the greatest, but it's really not that bad and it goes away quickly.

Yes, this soap has a strong smell at first, but it works great and leaves your skin feeling clean without drying. The smell completely disappears after use and after awhile, you don't even notice the scent at all. I've been using this soap for about year and will never change. If you want to get away from dyes and just want good old fashion plain soap, this is it! It's great on hair too!

I've been using Pine Tar soap since my mother sent me some while I was stationed in Germany from 1985-1988. It cured my broken out, irritated scalp and sensitive dry complexion. It cured both. I only use Pine Tar on my face, and hair when necessary. I don't put any soap on my face. I've been using Pine Tar for 25 years and I believe it keeps my face and skin looking fresh and young. I use an unscented moisturizing cream for sensitive skin after using pine tar soap. I'm 53 y/o & everyone asks me what I use on it because my skin is very clear and I think I look younger than my years. I recommend Pine Tar to them.

I bought some to try on the chemically induced cracking and bleeding my hands would go through every winter. I used to work in a silica gel factory. Silica gel is used to remove the moisture out of whatever it is in/and or the air it is around. I got laid off in 2000. and every winter since I worked there my hands are a cracked bleeding mess. until I started using this soap. My hands are normal again! I am simply amazed. I have a coworker that has severe psoriasis on his hands due to an overactive immune system. in the winter his hands are a bloody hamburger mess. His hands after this soap aren't perfect but they are 85% of normal skin. and they don't bleed at all. it's a Godsend.

This is the only soap I've found that performs better than prescription medications and lotions (very expensive prescriptions at that). This works to heal the sore, scaly and red areas quickly. It doesn't smell beautiful, but its pleasant. I don't have to use it very long to clear up the occasional flareups. I love it!

I found this product at the local health food store, where they want [$] per bar! Yes, it smells terrible, awful, horrible when you get down to it, BUT the odor does not last (You will not smell bad after using it. Really!) It does a wonderful job removing dry skin scales and oil and helps keep any body odor at bay. I have sensitive skin and have not had any adverse reaction. Basically, it does what a soap is supposed to do.
