I love desserts. I love to bake. I am always looking for cleaver products so I bought this pan as soon as it came out. The first batch seemed to turn out, as I thought of all kinds of things to make in it. But, to my surprise, the second batch was not the same. The pan comes in two pieces so the bottom drops easily for cooling and serving. The second batch, however, did not want to come out of the pan, AT ALL! I discovered the batter had leaked through the seams of the two pans and burned. All I can think of is it must have warped after the first cleaning or use. I tried turning the bottom plate over to see if there was a correct way of placing it in the pan and gave it a third try. The batter leaked once again and burned. I will not be cooking brownies in it again, but maybe I can use it for rice crispy treats or something that is non baked.

The pan is great, but it is smaller than the 13 x 9 recommended by brownie mixes. This makes the mix taller. It comes out with a different texture than regular brownies. Next time I will put about 2/3 of the mix in the brownie pan and the rest in another pan.

This works great to make nice looking treats. Just be sure to spray with cooking spray before baking I forgot once and everything stuck to the insert so I couldent get the cookie bars out without a giant mess. So dont forget! A little smaller then I thought it would be was thinking it would be a normal cake pan size.Be sure not to over fill. will be good for the holidays to make everything look nice for baked good gifts.

THIS IS THE BEST PAN EVER! I GOT IT AND TRIED IT OUT. IT WAS ORIGINALLY A B/D GIFT FOR SOMEONE AND I TESTED IT. AWESOME! SO I BAKED HER B/D CAKE IN IT BUT I POURED TOO MUCH BATTER IN SO THAT WHEN IT ROSE IT COVERED THE GRIDS. SO SHE JUST CUT A LITTLE CAKE OFF THE TOP TO SHOW GRIDS AND IT LIFTED RIGHT OUT.
