This sturdy steel rod fi ts under any doorknob. The skid-resistant rubber base securely grips the floor to anchor the door shut. It works on any floor surface - wood, carpeting, vinyl, tile, etc. Even if an intruder picks the lock, the door will remain tightly closed. Fits in a suitcase so you can feel secure when you travel. This device will make it more difficult for someone trying to break into your home or enter a room. An intruder will have to exert pressure and that should cause enough noise to alert you. Understand it will not prevent a determined strong person from eventually gaining access. It will give you a chance to get help.
