The Molechaser's penetrating sonic pulses radiate through soil causing rodents to run out of the yard. Pets won't be affected, but moles, voles, shrews, gophers and other destructive ground rodents find the pest control pulses irritating and move to other surroundings. 15" long. Uses 4 D batteries (not included). Protects up to 9,000 square feet.

I have used other products for gophers and this product does work. As a matter of fact, I am purchasing more this summer. I had so many gopher holes and decided to try one more product. I finally found something that works! They only last one season, but I don't care because it works and is relatively cheap in comparison to many other products that we tried.

It does work, but the range isn't as long as suggested. Also, if you have concrete in your yard (patio, driveway, etc.) the sound doesn't seem to get around it. We needed two in the front yard and two in the back yard, so I have to order more.
