This is really a fun gift...
the first year we had one... we planted 4
tomato plants and a short time later we had...
100's of cherry and grape tomatoes...
the kids liked to see all the food growing...
that they can just pick right off the vine...

after dirt is in the planter, and it has been
watered.. it is very solid heavy and safe...
but i do recommend to sure a safety line to the
place you put it... so kids do not get hurt...
it is very heavy... never had any one hurt but
around kids safety always first... if you know
what i mean.
the first year we used it for tomatoes but,my
husband bought more and the next year we had
the cherry and grape toms and in other planters
big deep red tomatoes and zukes,squash and bell
peppers.... and even one with strawberries..
yummy...!!! :)
these can be used over and over again...
our first one is at least 4 years old...
they are weather safe... but they do fade a
little but in my eyes, it is better that way...

PS.. no weeding... lol

Easy way to grow food plants. When used with commercial bagged soil many pests that normally infect from the ground can't get to the plants.

The new updated version of this item is working quite well--we read all the rotten review of the older model. So far we have no complaints, it was easy to assemble and it stayed upright during a bad storm last week. We have had it about three weeks now and our 2 tomatos and 1 eggplant are growing although it is a bit early for veggies to begin appearing--but we are hopeful.

My Husband and I have been growing tomatoes for 25 years. We have very little yard space so we can't plant any other vegies. Well we did topsy tervy, and they were so easy to prepare. Now we have cukes and squash and herbs in the yard and our tomatoes are hanging from our front porch roof. We already have plenty of flowering on them. We LOVE this item
