They worked great the first time. Then disaster. Better care instructions needed. Says wash hot, Tumble dry. Remove promptly. Should have said tumble dry low. Now the "waterproof" plastic backing is no longer waterproof. Holes melted into the plastic. I have not returned them because they are damaged. Have covered holes with waterproof tape and will wash on delicate cycle and hang dry. If they carry the ones with the tucks, hope the brand carried is sturdier. Rubber backing instead of the plastic backing of this product is much sturdier and does not melt under the higher drying temperatures.

I bought this kind 2 yrs ago and up to now, i'm still using it, but I need more for my son (just Potty-trained) so I ordered 4 more last June 13,2010,washed it,OK, but with drying, it's ruined, i used to stretched the back carefully after each drying, it stick together, little by little, it teared apart, it's really plastic & flammable, i just throw the 4 bed pads, they altered the back material, it used to be safe to dry using Dryer but now they compromised the quality, it's plastic....it's only 2 mos, I just wasted my money on this bed pads...

I am a professional pet groomer and I take in strays and find them homes. During the transition between mongrel and trained house pet we have a lot of accidents. The first time I ordered them I was delighted. They were high quality, large, reusable, and perfect. So, I doubled my order. The second time low quality backing, tears, melts in the dryer, the quality of a cheap trash bag. So I will try them again and if I get the cheap ones I will not order them again. I don't know if this helps because the code and picture in the ads are the same. # 95042

I use this product for elderly parents for incontinence. I usually order them from Dr Leonards once or twice a year. This set I ordered, were not your usual quality. Some of them didn't even last 2 weeks before they started coming apart and backing started tearing. The backing was like the backing on throw away pads. I expected better from Dr Leonards. I do give Dr Leonards credit for helping me to return the pads I recieved but it makes me think twice about reordering them again.

I have been disabled for 14 years and this product is the best size, dependable quality, long lasting, holds up with constant washing. I continue to reorder for myself and other family members as their control fails. The pads provide adequate protection for lift chair and bed. In fact when I purchase new pads I pass the older ones on to my aged and disabled cat, Reggie, who can no longer get into his litter box.

These thick cotton pads are MUCH sturdier than flimsy, disposable plastic coverings. They are soft, stay in place and have good absorption. We have found that using a dryer makes the backing crack eventually - so we hang them to dry and they last much longer. These are much more economical than disposable pads (which have their uses). We use them on the chairs, sofa, bed and on the floor under basins when washing the patient. We try to have a stack of them ready to use.

We have been using this product for years for several of the individuals we serve. We like these pads because they are small enough to use on chairs, sofas, car sets etc. yet also large enough to easily cover the area of the bed most likely to get wet from night time or nap time incontinence. We also like that they easily fit into even small washers and dryers and can be washed many times before they start to fall apart.
