Could have used stronger thread to keep the metal from breaking through. After a month or so I have to resew the leather to keep the hinges in place.

I wear the knee brace mainly for golf and bowling. It provides much needed support during these athletic activities... The only problem is the stitching around the metal hinge part often wears/breaks through... I now double stitch these areas even before I use it because I am sure these stitches will not hold. Once this is done the brace wears quite well... I have been using this item for nearly ten years now and have ordered many over the years. They clean up nicely following several wearings with soaking in hot soapy water in sink and then dries quickly in the sun.

this knee brace is made to give support to the knee and it does it job. i have arthrists in my knee.and wearing it feels good. that is all that counts.

I ordered 1 a few months ago and can't find it since my surgeon gave me a different one to wear after surgery. Now he wanted me to go back to the one I ordered and again, since I can't find it ( I think I left it at the surgeon's office) I ordered another but I could swear it was elastic on the sides and not a metal bar which makes it very difficult to bend my knee and the pic on site looks like you can bend your knee but it's not so.
