I bought this massager for my neck after having surgery on it. And for my back, I have chronic back pain, and this helps the pain! My sister in law came to stay with us and ended up taking it home with her. She loved it on her back, as well. I bought me another one to replace the one I gave her because I missed it so much. It is on the expensive side, for me, but it is well worth the money. Try it and you will see what I am talking about. It is a MUST HAVE item if you are suffering from back or neck pain.
