Be aware the device requires some assembly but it is not difficult or overly time consuming. An adjustable wrench(pliers may be substituted)and Philips(slotted) screw driver are the required tools. Once erected the support bench is highly stable and immediately inspires confidence for those needing it use. The support does not rock or shake when a person places their weight upon it and is designed in such a way as to not interfere with the person in the seated, raising or standing position. It requires little maintenance beyond routine cleaning and occasional tightening of screws. In my opinion this is a Superior Safety device that does what it claims at a reasonable price.

My knees are killing me when I have to sit or stand up.This really gives me support when using the toilet. We threw it on top of everything in the van to take to the lakehouse we rent for vacation. I ended up giving loaning it to my elderly parents in their bathroom on the vacation trip. My shoulders hurt from not having it. When we got home I ordered one for them at home and one for my basement bathroom too. It is sturdy.My hubby has assembled 3 now and not had any trouble.

It is a good product i wish it was not so wide as it was too wide for mom to reach the grab bars. My boyfriend cut the metal and reattached it. So it is now 5 inches less wide and much much better.
