They have e-l-a-s-t-i-c spandex uppers that "give" with each step to provide a pressure-free fit for women with bunions, hammertoes, corns, swelling or other foot problems. I think these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear because they didn't have my size. With the stretch I am able to wear them OK. The soles are heavy duty & provide good support. I hope Dr Leonard will restock these so I can get the right size & different colors.
