This lantern is kind of cheaply made. It came bent on one of the sides where the handle loop is supposed to go. The handle was also not attached on that side. After bending it back to its original shape, I put the handle loop in and it's fine. If you don't look real closely at the lantern it looks pretty good. The price was right and the light is very bright at the highest level. Love the dimmer switch too! Hope the batteries last a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I like the lantern. You get what you pay for and I really didn't expect any more than I got. Ok purchase.

Comments about Vintage Style Lantern:

An attractive lantern styled like the old oil lanterns. Great indoors or out, and especially for during a power outage. No fire worries as with the old oil lanterns since uses common batteries. Only improvement might be that could use a few more LED's for brightness; otherwise, the lighting is good for softer moods and in times of emergency.
