I CAN'T SAYHOW MANY EXPENSIVE TEA KETTLES I'VE BEEN THROUG~BURNED UP BECAUSE OF BAD WHISTLES. I gOT 2 OF THESE STAINLESS STEEL GEMS IN CASE i WANTED TWICE THE AMOUNT, & IN CASE I RUINED ONE, I'D HAVE A SPARE.WAS I EVER SURPRISED AT THE WHISTLE ON THIS TEA KETTLE! IT WORKS! YOU'LL NEVER BURN YOUR HANDS, NO MORE ENAMEL WELDED ONTO BURNERS, NO LONG WAITS FOR BOILING, KETTLE STAYS NEW-LOOKING;YOU'LL JUST LOVE IT!

I got this as a gift to make coffee in my small Melitta pot. It's the perfect size for my single 16 ounce cup of coffee every morning. I love the way it fits on my stovetop, it's doesn't get in the way of my other cookware. Stainless steel, nice whistle, easy to hold handle. I love it.
