This press dome works perfectly for covering food. The press dome seals the food completely. I saw this on Shark Tank and HAD to have one or two or three. It is amazing how simple it is: It sticks to a plate or counter top and is so easy to remove by lifting a little tab on it. You can not go wrong with this. I love it! The other reviewer said she didn't think she could use it in her microwave; the description says she can and we do all the time. I like that it is dishwasher safe too.

to keep food warm just to cover plate till my husband gets to it to keep flies off I really wanted something I could use to cover food in the microwave to avoid spatter I thought this would work but I'm afraid to use it there I don't want to ruin it because I really like the product for it's intended use
