I purchased these with the intention of killing insects near my house. I'm in the desert, so there is more than enough daylight to power these flimsy lights.

Although the lights come on, they are not powerful enough to kill any insects. In fact, I witnessed an insect moving around inside the light, and then fly away. I've had them outside, and they have not killed one insect to date.

I bought two of the bug zappers.Looks nice is the only compliment I can come up with. Made so flimsy and cheap pieces broke while (gently) installing.Half the time only one is working.

Put one in between pond and patio. Wish both that I ordered worked but one won't work and its in full sun, hasn't worked since I got them. The light isn't bright enough to attract much of anything and if it is too near any light it shuts off.
