This is a terrible year for black flies. My husband is allergic to their bites. Not one bite while wearing the net cover. Absolutely loves it. The head cover is roomy enough for him to wear a hat and a radio headset.

Use it mostly for gardening. Very susceptible to mosquitos. It covers more than just your face...prevents bugs from your arms and neck.
