Since the extensions on the window airconditioner don't go out far enough this is a great solution. I really didn't think they would fit, but they do and perfectly cover the gap. Couldn't be more pleased. We don't leave the ac in the window all year round so we didn't attach them but they still worked.

This product is so very easy to0 "install". Just put next to each side of the air conditioner and get a measurement. Then cut to fit. Push between window and air conditioner and you are done!
