This item is advertised that it can be machine washed and dried but if you put it in the dryer, the vinyl backing melts!

We use these for the grandfather to keep him from getting the bed and chairs wet. Also great to put over lap when eating and drinking. Keeps from getting the clothes wet.

I use it for my dog as she has gotten older she tends to leak urine when she sleeps. This has been a life saver on the furniture. I trained her to sleep on the pads when this condition first started a year ago. They wash up great and last a long time.
